Henry Ford Museum and the Greenfield Village are located in Dearborn, Michigan they were conceived by Ford as a learning institution where Americans could learn how their ancestors lived and worked in the past. The museum is name after its founder the industrialist Henry Ford.
Greenfield Village is considered the first outdoor museum in America it consists of over 80 historic structures that were built in different parts of the United States at different time periods. These buildings were moved to the property from their original locations and arranged in a “village” setting . The museum's intent is to show how Americans lived and worked since the founding of the country.
The Detroit Science Museum was founded by Detroit businessman and philanthropist Dexter Ferry. Their mission is to inspire children and their families in the Detroit area to appreciate and learn science, technology and engineering in a fun environment.
